Ingredients
  

  • 24 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 Oreo cookies chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a food processor, crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  • Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until well combined.
  • Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Mix in sour cream and flour until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is set.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open.
  • Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that all ingredients, especially the cream cheese, are at room temperature before starting to avoid lumps in the mixture. When pressing the crust, ensure it is evenly distributed and firmly packed to prevent crumbling when serving. Consider using a water bath during baking to avoid cracks on the cheesecake surface.
