Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Oreo cookies Crushed
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and semi-sweet chocolate chips using a silicone spatula.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden at the edges.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure your butter is softened to room temperature before mixing to ensure a smooth and creamy dough. If you prefer a chunkier texture, you can opt to break the Oreo cookies into larger pieces. These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week, maintaining their soft and chewy texture.
