Equipment

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 9-inch pie pan
  • 1 Rubber spatula
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 1 food processor (optional)

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush 24 Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and using a rolling pin.
  • Combine the crushed Oreos with melted butter in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until fully combined.
  • Stir in the chopped Oreo cookies and mini chocolate chips into the cream cheese filling.
  • Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly using a rubber spatula.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours or until firm before serving.
  • Garnish with additional Oreo cookies and mini chocolate chips if desired before serving.

Notes

For the best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to achieve a smooth texture. If you prefer a more chocolatey flavor, consider adding a layer of melted chocolate on the crust before adding the filling. Additionally, the pie can be made a day in advance to allow the flavors to fully meld together.
