Ingredients
  

  • 24 units Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 ounces each
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 12 ounces whipped topping divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Crush Oreo cookies using a food processor or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Combine crushed Oreos with melted butter in a mixing bowl and press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and 1 cup of whipped topping, mixing well.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust evenly.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  • Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
  • Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping, spreading it smoothly.
  • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour to set before serving.

Notes

To ensure a smooth and creamy texture, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing, and when spreading each layer, use a spatula for even distribution. For added flavor, consider garnishing the top with additional crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings before serving.
