Equipment

  • 1 Oven
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 plate
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Meat thermometer

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork chops bone-in
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 Large eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  • On a plate, combine the grated Parmesan, bread crumbs, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip each pork chop in the beaten eggs, ensuring both sides are coated.
  • Press each pork chop into the Parmesan mixture, coating both sides completely.
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  • Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the pork chops for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning. Using freshly grated Parmesan will enhance the flavor, and allowing the pork chops to rest ensures the juices redistribute, making the meat tender and juicy.
