Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peaches, blueberries, 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice, then stir well.
  • Pour the fruit mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the flour mixture, then stir until just combined.
  • Spoon the batter over the fruit mixture evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
