Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the melted butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • In the baking dish, layer the sliced peaches evenly.
  • Drizzle the lemon juice over the peaches.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar and ground cinnamon over the peaches.
  • Evenly spread the crumble topping over the peach mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe but firm peaches to ensure the filling is juicy yet not overly watery. Additionally, consider serving the cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent dessert experience.
