Ingredients
  

  • 6 cup fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the sliced peaches in the baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour the melted butter into the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the peaches.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe, fresh peaches. If fresh peaches are not available, you can substitute canned or frozen peaches, but adjust the sugar accordingly as they might be sweeter. Serve the peach crisp warm, and consider adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream to enhance the dessert experience.
