Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 measuring cup set
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Stir in the melted butter and oats until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the peaches.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more pronounced flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the crumble topping. If you prefer a less sweet cobbler, reduce the amount of granulated sugar in the peach mixture. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
