Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup peanut butter cups chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate cake mix, milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Evenly sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips over the top of the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best result, make sure the peanut butter is at room temperature before mixing to ensure it blends smoothly with the other ingredients. If you prefer a more gooey texture, you can slightly underbake the cake by a few minutes. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an added treat.
