  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon chives chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the cutting board.
  • Spread the ranch dressing evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ranch dressing.
  • Add the bacon bits evenly over the cheese.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log starting from the short side.
  • Slice the log into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the slices onto the baking sheet, cut side down.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped chives before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure the crescent roll dough is cold when you’re working with it to prevent it from becoming too sticky. You can prepare the pinwheels ahead of time and store them in the fridge until ready to bake. If you want to add a little kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or some diced jalapeños to the filling.
