Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 package instant pistachio pudding mix 3.4 ounces
  • 2 cups milk
  • 12 ounces whipped topping thawed
  • 1/2 cup pistachios chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, and chopped pecans.
  • Press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then cool completely.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat together powdered sugar and cream cheese.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pistachio pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  • Spread pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For extra tips, ensure the crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting and mixing. Use freshly chopped pecans for a more fragrant crust and consider chilling your mixing bowls before preparing the cream cheese and pudding layers for a firmer consistency.
