Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, and chopped pecans to make the streusel topping.
  • Sprinkle the streusel mixture evenly over the batter in the loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before mixing to achieve a smoother batter. If you prefer a sweeter bread, you can increase the sugar by a quarter cup.
