Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish 9x13 inch
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Biscuit mix
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease the baking dish with a non-stick spray or butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix, milk, cheddar cheese, and half of the melted butter.
  • Stir the mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the remaining melted butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of the biscuit batter.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more robust flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the garlic butter mixture. Ensure the biscuits are fully cooked by inserting a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, they are done. Adjust the cheese amount to taste, and consider adding cooked bacon bits for additional texture and flavor.
