  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 measuring cup set
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Cooling rack

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Cups chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease the loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, peanut butter, and vanilla extract.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas as they add extra sweetness and moisture to the bread. Feel free to use crunchy peanut butter for added texture if desired. Adjust the amount of Reese's cups according to your preference for more or less chocolatey goodness.
