Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish 8x8 inches
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 peeler
  • 1 measuring cup set
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon, and stir well.
  • Pour the peach mixture into the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  • Pour the batter over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Allow the cobbler to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe peaches, and don't be afraid to adjust the sugar level according to the sweetness of the fruit. If fresh peaches aren't available, canned or frozen peaches can be used as a substitute. Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra touch of indulgence.
