Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams feta cheese crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water if needed

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
  • Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, adding a tablespoon of water if the mixture is too thick.
  • Transfer the blended mixture to a mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the chopped dill and parsley.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Cover the bowl and let the dip rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve the dip in a serving dish along with pita bread or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For the best results, ensure the feta is at room temperature before blending to achieve a smoother texture. The resting time is crucial for the flavors to develop fully, so resist the urge to skip it. You can adjust the level of spiciness by modifying the amount of red pepper flakes, and feel free to garnish with extra herbs for a fresh touch.
