Ingredients
  

  • 200 gram Fresh spinach washed and chopped
  • 150 gram Feta cheese crumbled
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 200 milliliter Heavy cream
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  • Add the spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, then remove from heat.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and fit it into the quiche pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  • Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the pastry in the pan.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the spinach, ensuring even coverage.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
  • Allow the quiche to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the puff pastry is well-chilled before rolling out to prevent shrinking during baking. If you prefer a more intense flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or some grated Parmesan to the egg mixture. This quiche can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature, making it a versatile dish for any meal.
