  • 1 salad spinner
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Salad tongs or serving spoons

Ingredients

  • 6 cup fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse and dry the spinach leaves using a salad spinner.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries, feta cheese, sliced almonds, and red onion.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the large mixing bowl.
  • Gently toss the salad using salad tongs or serving spoons until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra tips, ensure the strawberries are fresh and ripe for the best flavor profile. Toasting the almonds lightly in a dry pan before adding them to the salad can add an extra layer of flavor and crunch. Adjust the amount of honey in the dressing to suit your taste preference for sweetness.
