Sun-dried Tomato Pesto Turkey Sandwich

  • 1 Bread Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Spreader or Butter Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Whole Wheat Bread
  • 4 tablespoons Sun-dried Tomato Pesto
  • 6 ounces Sliced Turkey Breast
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach Leaves
  • 1 Medium Tomato sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Lay out the slices of bread on a cutting board.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of sun-dried tomato pesto on one side of each bread slice.
  • Layer 3 ounces of sliced turkey breast on two of the bread slices.
  • Place 2 slices of provolone cheese on top of the turkey.
  • Add a layer of fresh spinach leaves on top of the cheese.
  • Add tomato slices on the spinach layer.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices, pesto side down.
  • Optional: Lightly brush the outer sides of the sandwiches with olive oil for added flavor.

Notes

For a warm and crispy sandwich, consider toasting it in a panini press or on a skillet until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown. Additionally, you can experiment with different types of bread or add other toppings like roasted red peppers or avocados for extra flavor and texture.
