Instructions

  • Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly.
  • Cook the waffles according to the waffle iron's instructions until golden brown and crisp.
  • Remove the waffles from the iron and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the sweet potatoes are thoroughly mashed for a smoother batter, and avoid overmixing to keep the waffles light and fluffy. You can also add a pinch of ginger for additional warmth or substitute whole wheat flour for a healthier twist.
