Equipment

  • 1 large baking dish
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 6 peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Grease the large baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Arrange the sliced peaches evenly in the baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  • Pour the batter evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top of the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  • Remove from the oven and let the pudding rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a dash of nutmeg to the batter or a sprinkle of brown sugar on top before baking. Serve the pudding warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a delightful contrast. If fresh peaches are not available, canned peaches can be used as a substitute; just be sure to drain them well before use.
