Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces pork chops
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Allow the pork chops to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the pork chops.
  • Cook the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet with the remaining marinade.
  • Cook the sauce, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  • Pour the thickened sauce over the pork chops.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the pork chops overnight. Make sure to not overcook the pork chops to keep them juicy and tender. If desired, serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
