  • 1 Measuring spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place the halved cherry tomatoes in a large bowl.
  • Add the crumbled feta cheese to the tomatoes.
  • Thinly slice the red onion and add it to the bowl.
  • Chop the fresh basil and sprinkle it over the mixture.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the salad ingredients.
  • Pour red wine vinegar into the bowl and mix gently.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, use ripe and fresh cherry tomatoes as they add a burst of sweetness to the salad. Additionally, letting the salad sit for a few minutes before serving allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. If you prefer, you can substitute the red wine vinegar with balsamic vinegar for a slightly different taste profile.
