Turkey Cranberry Sandwich

Equipment

  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Butter knife
  • 1 toaster (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slice whole wheat bread
  • 4 tablespoon cranberry sauce
  • 6 ounce sliced turkey breast
  • 2 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup arugula
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions
 

  • Lay out the slices of bread on a cutting board.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice using a butter knife.
  • Spread cranberry sauce on the opposite side of two bread slices.
  • Layer turkey slices evenly over the cranberry sauce.
  • Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
  • Add arugula on top of the cheese.
  • Close the sandwich with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.
  • Optionally, toast the sandwich in a toaster until the cheese melts slightly and the bread is golden brown.
  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of black pepper or a slice of ripe avocado to your sandwich. If you prefer a warm sandwich, grilling it on a panini press can enhance the flavors and textures. Always use fresh ingredients for the best taste, and adjust the cranberry sauce amount to balance the sweetness as per your preference.
