Ingredients

  • 1 box Fudge brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

  • Prepare the fudge brownie mix according to the package instructions by combining it with vegetable oil, water, and eggs in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl, prepare the white cake mix by combining it with softened butter and milk until smooth.
  • Gently spread the white cake batter over the brownie layer in the baking pan.
  • Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the cake layer.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cherry filling and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For the best results, ensure that the brownie batter is spread evenly in each layer to prevent uneven baking. Additionally, adjusting the amount of cherry pie filling based on personal preference can enhance the flavor balance between the cake and brownie layers.
