Equipment

  • 1 9-inch springform pan
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Wire rack
  • 1 Knife

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup white chocolate melted
  • 1 cup cherries pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the springform pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and egg.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow the brownie crust to cool on a wire rack.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the whipped cream mixture.
  • Spread half of the whipped cream mixture over the cooled brownie crust.
  • Layer the halved cherries over the whipped cream layer.
  • Top with the remaining whipped cream mixture and smooth evenly.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Before serving, garnish the cake with chocolate shavings and additional cherries if desired.

Notes

For best results, ensure the brownie crust is completely cool before adding the whipped cream mixture to prevent it from melting. Additionally, using fresh cherries can enhance the flavor, though canned ones are also suitable.
