Ingredients
  

  • 8 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 12 wontons store-bought or homemade
  • 4 ounce ramen noodles
  • 2 cup baby spinach
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste optional
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat.
  • Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the broth, stirring to combine.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté ginger and garlic in the saucepan until fragrant.
  • Transfer the ginger and garlic mixture to the pot of broth.
  • Bring the broth to a gentle boil.
  • Add wontons to the boiling broth and cook until they float to the surface.
  • Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook until tender.
  • Stir in baby spinach, green onions, and carrot.
  • Season the soup with chili paste, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Let the soup rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an enhanced flavor, you can add a dash of rice vinegar or a squeeze of lime juice before serving. If you prefer a spicier soup, consider adding more chili paste or a sprinkle of chili flakes. Customize the soup with your choice of vegetables or proteins like shrimp or chicken for added variety.
